New Holland Construction has launched its next-generation telematics and fleet management platform, myNewHollandConstruction, marking a significant advancement in connected equipment technology for mining, construction, and large-scale earthmoving operations across Africa. The platform replaces the existing FleetForce Telematics system and will come standard on 2026 model year equipment.
As mining operations across the continent face growing pressure to improve productivity, control fuel costs, and maximise equipment uptime in challenging and often remote environments, the new platform provides enhanced visibility and data-driven insights to support more efficient fleet management.
Built for Remote, High-Utilisation Operations
The myNewHollandConstruction platform strengthens the ability of fleet managers, site supervisors, and equipment owners to monitor connected machines from a single, intuitive interface. It is available via desktop and mobile applications for iOS and Android, ensuring access to critical fleet data both on-site and off-site.
All 2026 model year New Holland Construction machines will be telematics-ready, equipped with CM1X or P&CM modems and supported by a standard seven-year connectivity subscription, enabling long-term performance tracking and lifecycle optimisation.
Telematics has become a vital tool for modern mining fleets, where understanding machine location, utilisation, and operating condition is essential to maintaining production targets and managing dispersed assets.
Improving Productivity and Fuel Efficiency
Real-time telematics monitoring allows operators to track machine hours, productivity levels, fuel consumption, and jobsite efficiency. Fuel usage analysis across varying engine loads supports more accurate cost forecasting and helps identify inefficiencies, particularly in fuel-intensive applications such as hauling, loading, and bulk material movement.
The platform also enables more precise evaluation of contractor and leased equipment by measuring actual operating hours, rather than relying on fixed schedules—an important advantage for operations seeking tighter cost control and improved asset accountability.
Integrated Maintenance and Dealer Support
Developed in-house by CNH and New Holland Construction, myNewHollandConstruction combines a user-friendly interface with a flexible back-end system designed to adapt to diverse operational requirements.
Customisable alerts help teams stay ahead of planned maintenance activities, including oil changes, filter replacements, and tyre rotations. In parallel, the platform acts as a digital service link between customers and dealers, enabling predictive service notifications, remote software updates, and improved maintenance planning. This ensures parts availability and reduces unplanned downtime—critical factors in high-utilisation mining environments.
Enhanced Security and Site Control
For operations managing equipment across multiple sites and jurisdictions, the platform offers advanced security and location management features. Geofencing allows machines to be assigned to specific projects, with alerts triggered if assets move outside defined boundaries or operate unexpectedly.
Role-based access controls ensure that managers, operators, and maintenance personnel view only the information relevant to their responsibilities, supporting data security while improving operational focus.
Seamless Transition from FleetForce
The current FleetForce Telematics platform will remain active until 19 December 2025, allowing a structured transition to the new system. During this period, connected machines will be visible on both platforms. Each New Holland Construction machine includes a seven-year telematics subscription, with data retained for an additional three years after subscription expiry if not renewed.
Supporting the Digital Evolution of African Mining
As African mining continues its shift toward connected, data-driven operations, platforms such as myNewHollandConstruction play an increasingly important role in improving equipment utilisation, fuel efficiency, maintenance planning, and site security. The new system reinforces New Holland Construction’s commitment to supporting modern, high-performance mining fleets operating in some of the world’s most demanding conditions.
